The City of Gallatin contracted J. Cumby Construction to complete a new Equalization Tank and Pump Station. Prior to proceeding with these structures, J. Cumby first demolished the existing structures left on the site. This demolition included the previous EQ tank and pump station from the 1950s, a large concrete slab that previously held a furniture production facility as well as hazardous material removal from the boiler room of another previous structure.

Site conditions required J. Cumby to blast rock prior to the excavation of the new Pump Station Facility.

Lastly and more notably, construction of a new Drainage Basin ‘A’ Flow Equalization Facility including a 10 Million Gallon Prestressed Tank, Concrete Structures, Pumps, Variable Frequency Drives, Piping, Valves, Meters, Concrete, Electrical, SCADA, Building, Site Work, Demolition, and all other appurtenances.
